Wolf-Tones Member Letter to Superintendent Enoch and Board of Education With Response from the Superintendent
We need your help to let the School Board members and Superintendent Enoch know how much music is valued and a viable part of our community. Send them an e-mail about the importance of each student receiving a well rounded education that includes arts education. If our high school students need a visual and performing arts class to graduate and 2 advance arts courses as part of their "F" and "G" requirement for California State and U.C. University entrance, then we have to offer a viable, properly sequenced education in the arts. All of our distict students need a well balanced education that prepares them to listen, communicate and work together towards common goals. Music prepares them for this and refines these skills daily - better than any other course that they will take in school.
